The long scenic drive home from Boulder is so relaxing. As a passenger in my car it gives me the chance to think and appreciate life for all it has to offer.  I can recharge on this drive.  I wonder how many times we allow our students' thoughts to wander as they relax and possibly look outside for a few minutes. How often are they allowed to decompress during the school day which can and should be challenging for them. We need this time and they do too.
